The Bleaching I – Mazi Katanov
‘The Bleaching I’ is the first abstract piece in Mazi Katanov’s ‘Submersible’ series. Inspired by the colours and patterns of the coral and marine life of the Australian Great Barrier Reef, ‘Submersible’ is an abstract series that interprets and subsequently approaches the critical concern of the bleaching and potential destruction of the reef. This piece illustrates the force of deep ocean waves washing over and reinvigorating the damaged marine life.

All of Maple Studio’s wall art pieces come with your choice of solid wood frames in Black, White or Natural Wood.
- Art Print frames come with a choice of white mat between the print and the frame itself. Plexiglass provides a protective layer for your artwork.
- Canvas Print comes with a choice of:
- ‘Floating style’ frame – meaning there is a 1 cm gap between the frame and stretched canvas at all points. This style of framing draws attention to the intricacies of the artwork and the shadow creates more dynamic colours when displayed.
- No wooden frame. Your artwork will be gallery wrapped, stretched and ready-to-hang.
Adding a mat-board to your fine art print creates a aesthetically appealing border between the art print and the frame that sharpens and add boldness to the artwork’s colours.
